Efficient, stable, with all the features sea kayakers need for kayak expedition camping. And it's designed by Alder Creek's founder! This Tempest is "one of the good ones." Over the years, the Tempest has been manufactured in different locations, with not always the best construction. But this one is one of the best built examples. No skimping on the kevlar! The 170 can fit mid to larger framed paddlers. It has deck elastics and static perimeter lines. Adjustable skeg for tracking. Phase 3 outfitting. Three hatches with bulkheads. Compass mount.
