The Eddyline Sandpiper solo recreational kayak is a perfect choice for those seeking fun days exploring flatwater lakes, rivers and bays. The Sandpiper features a large, open cockpit for easy entry and exit. The extra space makes it the ideal solo for taking a small child or pet. At 12 feet long the Sandpiper is easy to store and its 38 pounds make it light enough to carry one handed. Its bow and stern hatches with bulkheads enable the kayak to float evenly and ease bailing when a capsize occurs.
Construction
Eddyline Kayaks are constructed using a thermoforming process using a proprietary ABS plastic. This results in kayaks with the following positive characteristics:
