Tiderace Xceed X N9 Touring Kayak (Carbon Epoxy)
The Tiderace Xceed Carbon sea kayak is a state of the art touring kayak. This version, with its resin supported cork and foam core of lightweight biaxial glass, unidirectional carbon and carbon layers to deck and hull is the lightest Tiderace makes. Less suited for the demands of expeditions, more suited for fast touring and fitness. Highly refined, efficient and stable, with ample storage capacity, it will deliver years of pleasure. Tiderace engineers employed specialized hydrodynamic software to design hull shapes that can cruise at 4+ knots whilst being relatively stable and maneuverable. The cockpit features an updated paddling position yielding a commanding posture for dynamic paddling.
Its weight at 51.8 lbs. is over 5 pounds lighter than the G-Core edition. It is derived from Vacuum Infused Heat Cured Epoxy Construction. The Xceed X is for paddlers weighing 187 - 232 lbs.
