The Norse Kayaks Embla and Ask are efficient, seaworthy and nimble handling kayaks, the latest Danish style designs by Jesper Kromann-Andersen, known for the Prana, Sisu and Karla touring kayaks. The hulls are optimized for speed and sharp handling comes from their rockered, multi-chined hulls. The stable, forgiving nature helps kayak students build skills whilst experienced paddlers can squeeze ultimate performance from the shape. The Ask is a boat as comfortable playing in dynamic water as it is cruising along mile after mile. The vacuum infused composite hull features aramid reinforcement along the chines and keel, offering excellent strength in a lightweight package.
Each comes complete with full outfitting, including three hatches with bulkheads and a glove box hatch. Glassed-in adjustable foot braces, and deck elastics with perimeter lines all around. The adjustable skeg rounds out the performance for tracking. Compass mount on the deck.
For sizing considerations, the Embla is suited for small-to-mid-sized paddlers, whilst the Ask is targeted for larger framed kayakers.
