The Eddyline Equinox is the highest performing model in Eddyline's recreational kayak family. Its design brings sea kayak features to a familiar, confidence inspiring recreational kayak foundation. For starters, it has a generous easy entry and exit cockpit and very stable hull. Then it was stretched to an efficient 14-foot day touring length, given a true tracking built-in skeg, and equipped with thigh braces and hip pads for edging. Its seat was given a track for adjusting trim. And the oval rear hatch opening is large enough to accommodate camping gear.
Construction
Eddyline Kayaks are constructed using a thermoforming process using their proprietary Carbonlite ABS plastic. This results in kayaks with the following positive characteristics:
