Immersion Research Lucky Charm
The Immersion Research Lucky Charm is a rand-style spray skirt that has become the go-to deck for serious river runners around the world.
Rand spray skirts are built for paddlers who value implosion resistance above all else. If you're paddling steep creeks or high volume class 5 whitewater, a rand skirt will offer the safest and most secure fit.
The first skirt introduced with IR's 3-fin style rand that is not only dry on a wide variety of rim shapes, but also provides the best implosion resistance currently available of any skirt on the market today. IR extended the deck fabric past the rand (like the IR Royale) to make it even drier on a wider variety of rims. The Lucky Charm also has Nylar reinforcement in the high wear areas that protect without compromising stretch (the green material around the front) and anti implosion sticky patches on the underside of the casing. All seams are glued, stitched and taped.
