P&H Scorpio II MV Touring Kayak
Like its composite cousin Cetus, the P&H Scorpio II MV touring kayak is intended for stable, efficient open water crossings carrying gear whilst handling the roughest conditions - but is equally satisfying for day touring.
The Scorpio II sports a Swede form hull shape - with a progressive hull profile, transitioning from a more narrowed bow to a moderate "V" with soft chines midships - and widest just aft of the cockpit. This gives the kayak incredible stability and the ability to maintain speed for those longer crossings. She is a gear hauler, too.
On deck and below she is a complete touring kayak. Rugged perimeter lines, deck elastics, watertight hatches, adjustable outfitting, compass recess and spare paddle recesses. She is equipped with P&H's proprietary Skudder system for ultimate tracking - and kayak sail inserts.
Construction
CoreLite X - Triple layer rotomolded sandwich construction consisting of two PE layers top and bottom with foam in between. An excellent stiffness to weight ratio enhances the performance of P&H hull designs, narrowing the gap between polyethylene and composite.
