Current Designs Sisu LV Fiberglass
The Current Designs Sisu LV Fiberglass has a design tilted toward playing in dynamic waters, with touring a close second. It is slightly wider and shorter than the Current Designs Prana, and because if has more rocker, the Sisu is more maneuverable as well. The Sisu excels in rock gardens, tide races, wave faces and tours with ease. This kayak is also user friendly for learning paddlers to rapidly develop skills and elevate performance. Composite fiberglass construction with exceptional outfitting throughout. The LV (low volume) version has less depth and is appropriate for smaller framed paddlers than the standard Sisu.
Here at Alder Creek, a group of paddlers visited and said they had paddled from Victoria B.C. to Canon Beach, Oregon. We asked them, "What boats are you paddling?" When they responded, "Sisus," I asked - "Why the Sisu?" They said that they wanted to surf the whole way!
Here is an Review of the Current Designs Sisu.
