Aquaglide Chelan 140 Solo Plus Inflatable Kayak
The Aquabound Chelan 140 Solo/Tandem inflatable kayak is stable, efficient, tracks well (fin included), forgiving and since it's inflatable, it's great for those with storage challenges. It's best suited for exploring flatwater lakes and touring settings. With its self-bailing cockpit, it can handle mild river running (Class II) and mild ocean touring. It can be a solo kayak for those with lots of overnight gear, or used as a tandem kayak for fun for two.
Its construction is so rigid it has performance approaching hard shell kayaks. The tubes are tough Duratex and the floor is stiff drop stitch construction.
Its bow and stern splash deflectors keep water out of the cockpit. Deck elastics secure gear. For added comfort, the PRO-formance seats provide an array of thoughtful features including adjustable air cushion, high backrest, plentiful mesh storage pockets, integrated fishing-rod holders, and fore and aft seat straps. 6 scuppers make the kayak self-draining. Molly plates and Molly mesh bags allow mounting of accessories. There's also two universal mounting plates onto which can be mounted dozens of accessories. This kayak comes with a handy backpack travel bag.
