The blade of the Player has a quicker entry and greater initial power. What this leads to is a quicker paddle in the water that equals getting the blade closer to the kayak. This fiberglass paddle is lightweight with an amazing feel in the water. The Player would also be great for surfing, river running, and playing.

This paddle also comes in a bent shaft that allows for an ergonomic wrist position. Straight shafts and bent shafts can feel different leading to various opinions and it is wise to try each. These are offered in Demo so please feel free to come in and ask for a “Demo Werner Player” at Alder Creek Kayak and Canoe.
