Available in 46" to 54" lengths, the Compulsion (at 52") is a miniscule 12 ounces of ABS palm-grip, carbon shaft, and performance core blade. The performance core blade (foam-core sandwiched in carbon) is lightly spooned to provide a graceful and clean catch, and the powerface is shaped to evenly balance pressure, minimizing flutter and slip. The Compulsion's teardrop shaped blade helps make sure you get the most purchase on the water each time you make a stroke; the uniquely shaped blade also serves to hug along the hull, allowing for a more efficient forward-stroke. The Compulsion's 12 degree blade angle additionally optimizes your stroke-- the bend aligns the blade to be in a more vertical position at the peak of your stroke, resulting in more forward power without exerting more energy.
