I've had a Thule Hullavtor since 2005. Thule replaced it 2 years ago as the 2005 models would not always latch into place when unstrapping and reloading my kayak. This one works great and is one of my valued kayak accessories! I live in a windy area and often load or off load my kayak solo at home or on-site for paddling. It easily adjusts to the 2 different width's of kayaks I own and the cradles can be locked when I'm out paddling or for semi-security when I don't want to Lasso-lock my kayak. I found that tape over the cradle tracks eliminates a whistling noise emmitted that only occured when I had a boat on. Of course the cradles pop off easily with the removel of one pin when I'm not carrying boats. The Hullavator will fit Thule or round bars equally well. Totally user friendly! Easy to install on your rack system.
