Mad River Canoe's Explorer 16 TT combines a versatile hull design with their signature TripleTough material. At 16', this boat balances speed with manueverability: great for river adventures and lakeside picnics! Both the Royalex (vinyl layers sandwiching a foam core) and the TripleTough material (polyethelene layers sandwiching a foam core) make for a boat that won't sink* but can take a whole lot of abuse. This is a great boat for paddlers looking for durability and folks who want a "do-it-all" canoe. The Explorer 16 provides comfortable initial stability, great for sportsmen and small families.
